The most luxurious accommodation at sea will be aboard the Seven Seas Explorer; it is the largest suite ever built on a luxury cruise, with over 278 m² of interior space and over 412 m² including the outdoor area. It is located above the command bridge and overlooks the ship’s bow.

The Regent Suite is almost twice the size of an average American home and 20 times larger than the average cabins on cruise ships. Priced at $11,000 per night, all-inclusive (based on double occupancy), the suite is already booked for nearly all cruises during the inaugural season in 2020.

Private Spa and $200,000 Bed

The suite boasts a private spa (with an exclusive sauna, including a steam option, and a treatment area with unlimited services), a 270-degree panoramic view over the ship’s bow from a 130 m² balcony that surrounds the entire area, and a living room with a glazed solarium located on top of the bridge, providing a captain-worthy view.

Guests of the Regent Suite also enjoy a personal butler to manage all the details of their experiences, a private car with driver and guide in each port, and the exquisite comfort of a custom Vividus bed – valued at $200,000 – from the renowned brand Hästens.

In contrast to the most exclusive accommodations and retreats on land, the stunning landscapes viewed through the glass walls – stretching from floor to ceiling on three sides of the suite – change daily as guests sail to iconic and exotic destinations around the world aboard the Seven Seas Splendor.

“The Regent Suite is the best example of how the Seven Seas Splendor will surprise luxury travelers with an unparalleled experience and reflects the extraordinary level of detail you will discover on this impressive ship,” said Jason Montague, President and CEO of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “In the Regent Suite, whether hosting friends in the elegant living room, enjoying caviar or lobster in the dining room, relaxing in the ultra-exclusive handcrafted bed Hastens Vividus, taking advantage of an unlimited menu in the suite’s exclusive spa, or exploring coastal villages in your exclusive car, coordinated by your personal butler, the all-inclusive experience represents perfected luxury.”

The king-size continental bed is being crafted by four master craftsmen in the company’s workshop in Köping, Sweden, and is made of Latvian pine wood, with a mattress using steel springs, a base made with horsehair, and a lining of wool and cotton. With over 300 hours of work and an 18-month schedule to be completed, the bed will be the most luxurious at sea, allowing guests to sleep with unmatched comfort and care every night after exploring the world during the day.

There is only one Regent Suite aboard the Seven Seas Splendor, and it is based on the already renowned reputation of the Regent Suite on its sister ship, the Seven Seas Explorer. The main bathroom and private spa are 30% larger on the Splendor to incorporate an impressive shower with a sea view through floor-to-ceiling glass walls. Another difference is a jacuzzi pool from the legendary Italian brand Treese, custom-made for the ship’s suite and situated on the front balcony, providing incredible views from sunrise to sunset as guests relax and savor a glass of Veuve Clicquot. The bar next to the living room and solarium offers a panoramic view of the ocean while travelers rest comfortably, and a private butler prepares their favorite drink.

The living room is separate from the main bedroom and features a sumptuous sofa and a 4K high-definition flat-screen TV. The area designated for guests includes a suite with two beds, two bathrooms, and a powder room, in harmony with the design of the main suite, with a separate and inviting living room, walk-in closet, and private balcony. The Regent Suite accommodates up to six people in total.
Guests also have access to an exclusive dining experience every evening at The Study (located on deck 11), where they can receive a cocktail or enjoy excellent dining options from the exquisite steakhouse Prime 7 or the modern French restaurant Chartreuse.

A Pre-Voyage Concierge will take care of the details of the Vividus bed, such as the guest’s preferred linens and pillows, place the passenger’s personal selection on the suite’s aromatic menu, and ensure the choice of their bath and skincare products is made. The Chief Butler serves as an exclusive personal assistant, coordinating spa services, daily activities, and ensuring that both car and driver meet the passenger at their preferred location during coastal excursions.
