Gordon Murray Special Vehicles (GMSV), the new division of the Gordon Murray Group dedicated to bespoke creations and ultra-limited series, made its global debut during Monterey Car Week 2025, presenting two supercars that pay tribute to the Le Mans legacy: the GMSV S1 LM and the GMSV Le Mans GTR.
+ Fenomeno: Lamborghini launches its most powerful car in an exclusive and rare version
Created to redefine the concept of exclusivity, GMSV was born with the mission of offering vehicles that go beyond conventions. While GMA produces premium hand-built models, the new division focuses on unique commissions, historical continuations, and limited bespoke editions for collectors and visionaries seeking true works of art on wheels.
“I love timeless design. I never wanted to enter the race for the most outrageous supercar at the expense of balance, beauty, and proportion. The result is timeless and beautiful,” declared Prof. Gordon Murray, executive chairman of the group.
GMSV S1 LM: the essence of exclusivity
The brand’s first model, the S1 LM, represents the ultimate expression of Murray’s seven design principles, such as lightness, driving perfection, and the art of engineering. Inspired by the historic Le Mans victory in 1995, the supercar features an elegant profile with a full carbon fiber body and tailor-made aerodynamics.
At the heart of the model is an exclusive 4.3-liter V12 engine, capable of reaching 12,100 rpm and delivering over 700 hp, paired with an Inconel exhaust system wrapped in 18-carat gold shielding. Only five units of the S1 LM will be produced, all road-homologated, with deliveries scheduled for 2026.
GMSV Le Mans GTR: the reinterpretation of the longtails

The Le Mans GTR revisits the tradition of the legendary longtails of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, such as the Porsche 917 and the Matra-Simca MS660, adding a contemporary touch. The model uses the high-revving GMA V12 engine, a six-speed manual gearbox, and a body designed to maximize downforce and aerodynamic efficiency, dispensing with the famous rear fan of the T.50.
The interior, although focused on track performance, maintains the refinement expected by the most demanding clients, offering personalization options inspired by Le Mans classics or modern exclusive solutions. Only 24 examples of the Le Mans GTR will be built—one for each hour of the mythical race—and all have already been sold.
A vision beyond tradition
According to Phil Lee, CEO of the Gordon Murray Group, the first two GMSV launches represent the beginning of a journey aimed at elite collectors:
“Our models demonstrate the exceptional design and engineering capabilities of the GMSV team. We are already working on new projects and look forward to creating more masterpieces in partnership with the world’s most passionate enthusiasts.”
With the promise of combining heritage, innovation, and exclusivity in every detail, GMSV sets a new standard in the hypercar world, reaffirming Gordon Murray’s philosophy: every car must be more than just a vehicle—it must be a timeless experience.
