Interestingly, the house is a million dollars cheaper than the Ferrari. One of the key tips to sell a house for more money is to take professionally shot photos highlighting the best features of the property.
A UK-based owner took this advice to the next level by adding an attractive object in the photos that could easily encourage buyers to pay a higher asking price. The object in question is a Ferrari LaFerrari—one of the greatest automotive creations of this century.

The house listed for sale is located in Luton, UK, and was built in 1869. While the property preserves its Victorian appearance on the outside, the beautiful Grade II-listed house features a completely modern interior that has been renovated by the current owner to a demanding standard. However, the highlight should be the Italian hybrid hypercar parked in what appears to be the living room, near floor-to-ceiling windows.
You’ll be surprised to learn that the LaFerrari is actually over a million dollars more expensive than the house it is parked in, which was the first thing noticed by many potential buyers who marveled at the photos. The asking price for the mansion, built on a 1.3-acre plot, is £2.5 million (~$3.2 million). However, a well-preserved LaFerrari can easily cost over $4 million. The online car sales website AutoTrader has three LaFerraris for sale, all priced at $4.2 million.
A commentator wrote, “Why would you put your car in the living room when trying to sell your house?” “It’s Luton. It would obviously get stolen if left outside,” replied one of them. While another person commented, “I would suggest that if they have a £3 million car in a £2 million house, they would likely have another house or two as well.”
The listing says, “The house is set on a plot of approximately 1.3 acres to include an inn – ideal for multigenerational living or guest/staff accommodation, e.g., a wild pool and a specialized garage for ten cars.” Other highlights of the mansion include a wine cellar and a home cinema. The property also comes chain-free.
